Outside the entrance is a large free carpark and Barkarby train station is right next door with direct services to Stockholm Central Station. When it opened in 1985 Welcome Hotel was Sweden's first economy-class hotel. In 2003 it received official accreditation from SHR for 3 stars. After a major renovation in 2009 it now has 158 rooms 9 conference rooms group rooms a restaurant gym and two separate houses for long-term accommodation. The hotel and adjacent restaurant Lasse Maja Inn with the Courthouse are owned and operated by Claes and Catharina Roos.
