The building is located opposite the ferry terminal and across the road from the vehicle entrance and exit of the terminal on Newton Street Stornoway.Newton Street was once known as Captains Row and is mentioned in the book - A shilling for your scowl - the history of a Scottish legal mafia by James Shaw Grant.The house has three large ensuite and two large standard bedrooms. All rooms have a sea view and panoramic views of Lews Castle grounds and beyond to Arnish point. It also has a well laid out dining room.
