Glenan Lodge is a traditional country house with private fishing in a village location in the midst of the Monadliath mountains just 15 miles south of Inverness and 15 miles north of Aviemore on the main A9. We are fully non-smoking. We have a comfortable guest lounge with video a homely dining room and licenced bar. Home cooked evening meals are available but must be booked in advance. We are ideally situated for walking cycling bird-watching mountain biking or just touring the Highlands - Loch Ness and the ski area at Aviemore are each only a 30 minute drive away and Tomatin Distillery with it's Vistor Centre is next door!! We also have our own 2 mile beat on the river Findhorn for the use of our guests for salmon and wild brown trout fishing. We are pleased to welcome children 5 years of age and over.

Retaining its original Victorian and Edwardian features both externally and internally. All guest rooms external lodges and suites are located within the original buildings boasting a unique blend of modern and antique furniture a classical decor and a tranquil atmosphere. Our hotel restaurant specialises in first-class food free from fuss at a reasonable cost. The Lodge has even been awarded a AA 3 star qualification such are the levels of standard we provide. All rooms now have flat-panel LCD TVs with CNN and will shortly be upgraded with a Sky Package at no cost. Same day Booking cut-off time is 2000hr. Please do to make a same day reservation for later arrival unless you phone in for door numeric entry code after your LateRooms booking is confirmed. You may otherwise not gain entry as we do not have a 24 hour service. Cold salads beer and the like can be left in your room.
