Located in an elegant Victorian mansion and set within 2 acres of beautiful and secluded wooded grounds. We are perfectly located for some of the best fishing and golfing in Scotland. Boasting an impressive 21 golf courses within just half an hours drive and being only a stones throw away from the River Ettrick with its fantastic Salmon and Rainbow Trout fishing. Selkirk is also a prominent stop on the famous Abbey Way that takes walkers on a tour of the famous Abbeys of the Scottish Borders. And after all that exertion why not come and relax in our bar. There is live music most nights from the proprietor and friends with a well attended music session hosting borders wide talent on the last Friday of the month. The Heatherlie House Hotel consists of 6 bedrooms in the main building and 2 in an annex building that have better access for people with mobility problems. All of our rooms are spacious and comfortably decorated and come with all the conveniences you would expect from a Country Hotel. All but one of our rooms are en-suite and we do have a separate bathroom with a bath which is ideal for golferswalkers who have had a hard day on the hills..Our family team work hard at making every guest feel welcome and we look forward to meeting you soon!
