It is a Robinsons brewery but does stock guest beers.Activities within the vicinity are Pony Trecking from Tirril Alternative Coast to Coast Route Golf in Penrith sailing and canoeing on the lake.

Two double rooms are with modern en-suite facilities one has a bath and a shower. The Rose room can sleep 4 and is an excellent family room rooms can be used as twin accommodation. We can provide lock up facilities for cycles. Drying facility is available. The village has an 18 century inn (Queens Head) which serves meals and good beers. The Yanwath Gate Inn is 1 mile outside the village and is an excellent restuarantpub serving top quality meals and wines.
