The Queens Head is a local 18th century pub within walking distance located in the village of Tirril - serving their famous pies from the Pie Mill at Threlkeld. It is a Robinsons brewery but does stock guest beers.Activities within the vicinity are Pony Trecking from Tirril Alternative Coast to Coast Route Golf in Penrith sailing and canoeing on the lake.
