It is completely self contained with its own front door accessed from the lane through the single gate. It has underfloor heating throughout fitted kitchen lounge bedroom sleeps two adults with twin oak beds (no children allowed) and a beautiful modern bathroom with full size bath and wet area shower.Positioned on a quiet lane with Cracken Edge on our doorstep we have an elevated position in addition we have far reaching views from our south facing private balcony at the rear of the property looking towards Eccles Pike and beyond. Plenty of parking available on the lane.Ideal For Walkers Cyclists and a perfect retreat for Business or Leisure stays.There are abundabce of WalksCycle routes available taking in some of the High Peaks unique villages.The property is within a short stroll of the villages local amenities and has a direct train route to the cosmopolitan cities of Manchester and Sheffield yet is situated close to some of The Peak Districts most stunning scenery.The ground floor accommodation consists of a fitted kitchen with oven hob hood fridgefreezer table and chairs crockery glassware and cutlery.The south facing living room has a leather suite with remote control reclining facility a wall mounted TV with free view DVD player CDradio player Ipod docking station and a private south facing balcony with table and chairs.Upstairs the bedroom has twin oak beds for 2 adults fitted wardrobe bedside tables and lamps. A fully tiled bathroom with full size bath WC large modern sink fitted into an oak cabinet shower wet area bed linen bath and hand towels.The whole of the property has underfloor heating run from an air source heat pump.In the evening why not relax and have a stroll down into the village and visit The Old Hall at Whitehough this 16th Century Inn with its Minstrel gallery is a great country pub with an award winning selection of local ales and fabulous food.

Hawthorn Farm is a grade two listed house dating from before 1580 the house was converted into a guest house over 70 years ago. We have two rooms in the main house and a further six rooms in the converted cow sheds. We have en-suite shower facilities with all our rooms and a two room suite with private shower room and additional toilet. All the rooms have flat screen digital tv tea and coffee making facilities alarm clocks and hair dryers. Some of our rooms are pet friendly only two dogs at a time and by arrangement only please.( Email or phone to check first.) There is a 69 par golf course virtually on our door step which offers discounts to our guests. An all weather driving range is also next door to them.We also have a local leisure center with swimming pool sauna steam room and fully equipped gym that allows our guest to use it's facilities for £5 per day. We are no in our third year here and enjoy it very much we have done lots of refurbishment and hope we provide everything our guests need the garden still remains very much a work in progress but we hope eventually it will look as tidy as it did in years gone by!!
