Our cottage is in the middle of a deer farm in the rolling Derbyshire countryside - a paradise for nature lovers walkers and cyclists!Chatsworth House is a short (10 minute) drive away as is Haddon Hall Bakewell and Hardwick Hall. Chesterfield Sheffield Meadowhall and Bolsover Castle are also easily accessible.Our rooms are all tastefully decorated spotlessly clean and luxuriously large with generous en-suites and inspiring countryside views.Hospitality trays include bottled water and fruit juices as well as snacks.Home-made bread and fruit bread is served at breakfast free-range eggs and locally sourced bacon and sausage are also on the menu.Other facilities include pre-ordering of newspapers and booking of meals at the nearby pub (easily walkable) which offers a discount to our guests.The rate shown includes our full breakfast menu (with the full English) but if you prefer you can have a lighterbuffet -style breakfast @ £68prpn.Our high standard of service and hospitality is the same whichever tariff you choose.All rooms are available with single occupancy @ £50 with buffet breakfast or £55 with the full 3 course breakfast.

The Manor House is set in a beautiful 15th century Grade II listed building. Located in the historic market town of Dronfield we are perfectly situated as a base to explore the Peak District. The building was sympathetically renovated and re-designed in 2009 and mixes the contemporary with the traditional to stunning effect. Breakfast is served from 7am weekdays and 8pm weekends whilst from 11am to 5pm a cafecoffee bar lunchtime menu is offered serving a range of hot and cold sandwiches and baguettes salads and lighter lunchtime meals and not forgetting a delicious selection of cakes and pastries. From 5pm until 9pm in the evening our chefs offer an exceptional and varied menu showcasing all the best local and seasonal produce. Our restaurant is extremely popular with local customers and hotel guests and booking is essential at weekends.We are a 10 minute drive to the magnificent Peak District with its abundance of spectacular scenery nature trails historic buildings and tourist attractions as well as the numerous villages and famous towns such as Bakewell and Eyam . Another five minutes and you will arrive at The Chatsworth House Estate and Gardens home to The Duke and Duchess of Devonshire and one of the UK's most famous Country Houses renowned and revered worldwide. From our central location and only 10-15 minutes away Sheffield and Chesterfield have all the many leisure and entertainment facilities you would expect from big cities. Sheffield is home to The Crucible and Lyceum Theatres The Don Valley Sports Stadium and The Sheffield Arena. There are many other sports music and entertainment venues. For serious shoppers Meadowhall is one of the country's largest indoor shopping centres whilst the city centres of both Sheffield and Chesterfield are thriving bustling retail areas.
