Jane Boothroyd welcomes you to a luxury bed and breakfast experience in her home on the edge of the Peak District. The aim being to provide a peaceful and relaxing stay in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. So we are not suitable for children under 12 or those wishing to party as this may disturb other guests. The barn is set in 4 acres of grounds with horses grazing it is located 5 miles from Ashbourne the gateway to Dovedale and some 8 miles from Alton Towers theme park. Hungry Bentley Barn is also close to Uttoxeter Burton on Trent and Stoke. There are several excellent gastro pubs close by for evening meals. The barn has been newly converted maintaining the rustic spacious and open feel with 3 large double en-suite rooms all with exposed oak beams and trusses with glass partitions high ceilings and stone floors throughout.

At the Lilacs a warm and friendly welcome awaits you. We are surrounded by open countryside with local pubs serving excellent food and within 5-20 mins. walking distance. All the Derbyshire and Staffordshire attractions are 30 mins. away making us a very central base for touring the area. The Lilacs have two double rooms both en-suite. Each room has a TV hairdryer and teacoffee making facilities. There is a breakfast menu and a full English breakfast is naturally included in the price. We do not provide lunch or evening meals but there are a number of traditional British pubs within a short walking distance (10 minutes) that provide excellent meals. We also have a residents lounge and dining room. Parking is not a problem as we have plenty of parking space behind the house. Wi Fi is available.
