The Feather's Hotel has been an important part of Holt since it was established on the site of the old cattle market in 1650.During the 19th Century the 'Regulator' coach used to depart from the Hotel three times a week for the fourteen hour journey to London.Around that time the first landlord Mr Cubitt Cooke was visited by an author named Peter Bull. Through the kitchen your reach the sun room with a further table and chairs made of wicker and a door leads to the enclosed garden.Back through the lobby is the impressive double height main sitting room. There is a wood burning stove and a large flat screen TV.There are 2 bedrooms upstairs with 5ft beds and en-suite shower rooms. One bedroom also has a 3ft single bed. Bed linen and towels are provided.
