Places a little futher afield such as Swansea or Carmarthenshire are only about an hours drive away. Newport has an abundance of interesting places to visit including the castle cathedral and transporter bridge. As well as the roman remains and amphiheatre in nearby Caerleon. We also have the passport office in the city centre. Both Newport train and bus stations are a 15 minute walk or 2 minute taxi ride away. The city centre is a 10 minute walk to the main shops. In addition to the standard facilities you would expect from a hotel we have a wonderful garden at your disposal a residence lounge a bar and can provide a wireless internet connection for your use.

The Crescent Guest House is a four star rated guest house with the Wales Tourist Board and three star rated with the AA. Situated near the town centre of Newport in conservation area and we are only one mile from junction 27 of the M4 motorway. We provide ample parking to the rear and front of the building. The house is a magnificent 19th century building and furnished to an excellent standard with an elegant dining room. All ten rooms have en-suite facilities colour TV some with VCR and a complimentary courtesy tray. The two downstairs rooms are wheelchair accessible. We are happy to accept visa switch or MasterCard
