Whether it's on business or for leisure The Bear is an ideal place to stay dine and drink whilst exploring the beautiful surrounding area including the historic city of Bath (10 minutes) the market town of Frome (15 minutes) or even Longleat (25 minutes) with it's beautiful house and exciting safari park.Our accommodation comprises of three spacious clean and modern rooms each with en suite facilities at very reasonable rates including a cooked breakfast. Complimentary WiFi is also available throughout.Just down the stairs is our lovely bar and restaurant sympathetically restored to a contemporary decor and serving unpretentious traditional dishes complemented by a good selection of wines continental lagers and real ale.During the warmer months our lovely outdoor sheltered courtyard allows for 'alfresco' drinks and meals.Please note that The Bear Inn is centrally located and as such no car parking is available on-site. There are however numerous public car parks within 200 yards (free after 6pm) as well as on street parking nearby.The Bear Inn's bar and restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Also please note that we do close EVERY afternoon between 3pm and 6pm - Should guests be due to arrive during this period of closure we ask that you be as accurate as possible with your arrival time.
