The Duke of Wellington was built in the 17th-century as a traditional coaching inn and posting house. The hotel is conveniently situated in the centre of Minehead. Minehead is a bustling seaside town with attractions to suit a large range of people. It is home to West Somerset Steam railway which runs several steam trains throughout the day over the summer period. Minehead is also famously home to the family amusement park Butlins for which any of our guests could visit upon purchasing a day pass. Minehead is situated on the north coast of Somerset boasting some fabulous sea views. It is also known as The Gateway to Exmoor as it is nestled in the centre of Exmoor National Park.The Duke of Wellington is made up of a traditional Wetherspoon pub a Lloyds No. 1 bar and a Wetherlodge. We offer an extensive menu served between 7am - 10pm. The Lloyds No. 1 music venue is on the side of the hotel and is open until 2am on a Friday and Saturday.
