Strathmore a delightful three story Licensed Victorian Guest House has been awarded the grading of 4 Highly Commended by the AA for the 6th year in succession. We have eight individually designed en-suite bedrooms offering a variaty of accommodation with a choice of Single Double Twin and Family rooms available. We offer free Wi-Fi in the Lounge Bar area however due to the age of the building and the thick walls within the building the Wi-Fi does not reach all bedrooms.There is a comfortable Lounge Bar where you can sit and relax or should the weather permit we also have a secluded terraced garden to the rear of the propery for guests use. Breakfast is served between 8.00am-930am (earlier by prior arrangement) in the elegant Dining-room where you can help yourself to a wide choice of Cereals Fruit Juices etc while awaiting your choice of either English Vegetarian or Kippers to be cooked.We are both pet and family friendly with high chair and travel cot available. We offer free Wi-Fi for guests use and have a small Car Park to the front of the building. Strathmore is located just a 10 minute stroll to both the Town Centre and Seafront - where you will find a wide variery of eating establishments and shops along with the award winning Blue Flag Tunnels Beaches. The lovely Bicclescombe Park and Cairn Nature reserve are also only a few minutes walk away.Though bedrooms are not guaranteed till our check in time of 4.00pm should you require earlier please ask and we will try to accommodate your requirments.
