As a former major regional centre and formerly a home to bishops and dukes there is much to see and do and the region attracts thousands of tourists every year. The historic old town is always worth a visit whether it be the old town hall the cathedral the town walls or Schloss Moritzburg which now serves as a museum.Wine lovers will enjoy a trip to the Hubertus Triebe vineyard in nearby Würchwitz. Wines from the Saale-Unstrut region enjoy a fine reputation within Germany and on a tour of the vineyard you can sample some of the local produce including a fruity Dornfelder or a dry Riesling.Our recently renovated hotel has comfortable single and double rooms. We also offer breakfast with freshly baked rolls freshly brewed coffee and much much more.
