Ricky and Jane Carter are the proprietors of this exquisite bed and breakfast and from the minute you arrive you will instantly feel at home. All rooms have colour TV hairdryer iron ironing board sewing kit shoe shine tea and coffee making facilities (inc hot soup herbal teas and hot chocolate) mineral water and glasses. Bathrobes and all toiletries are included. If you would like to use your laptop with your stay with us we have free WiFi in all rooms. Our 4-poster en-suite is ideal as a bridal suite and can also be used as a large family room. Children welcome under 10's go free (based on sharing with two adults in room) After a pleasant night sleep; breakfast will be served for you in our large kitchen diner. All tastes are catered for including: vegan vegetarian and continental We have an extensive menu with fresh orange juice fresh fruit a large selection of cereals croissants and jam yoghurt fresh grapefruit and fresh kippers fetched from the famous fishing huts that morning. If you are feeling really hungry why not try one of Ricky's famous home cooked full English breakfasts which is a treat in itself. A daily newspaper paper is supplied for your enjoyment.

The Lansdowne Hotel is a family run 28 bedroom hotel centrally located on the Hastings' seafront . All 28 rooms are non-smoking and en-suite with bathshower hairdryer telephone and television. The Hotel has a bar a restaurant and 24 hour reception. There are many shops restaurants and bars 5 minutes away including the Meadow Shopping Centre. The Old Town has many attractions including the Sea Life Centre the Shipwreck Heritage Centre and Hastings Castle.PLEASE NOTE THIS HOTEL HAS CHANGED MANAGEMENT. Since taking over in June 2010 we have made many changes i.e. all the beds has been changed with memory foam mattresses there is WI-FI in 90% of the rooms. We have put all new linen new pillows duvets net curtains and flat screen televisions in all rooms. We have improved the lounge area with draught beer on tap and free internet for our guests.As you can appreciate there is a limited amount we can do in peak season. We intend to carry out some of the major works in winter when we will close off the top floor and do a total refurb on this floor. We will put in new windows shower rooms ceilings carpets and all new fixtures and fittings. We hope to do at least one or possibly two floors this way while keeping disruption to a minimum.
