The Half Moon Inn is well known not just for the fishing but for our superb food cask conditioned ales well stocked bar and wine cellar with wines from around the world to suit most palates. A magnificent log fire is a focal point in colder weather and the unique village inn atmosphere creates an ideal setting for our guests to meet informally and mix with the local people. You do not have to fish to enjoy a relaxing time with us we extend a warm welcome to anyone who wishes to stay from walkers and cyclists to businessmen and property hunters! The Half Moon has had visitors from all over the world who have experienced the atmosphere of a traditional English inn and many have returned several times. All the rooms in the main building at the Half Moon are typical of a building dating back to the 16th century with exposed beams low windows and one of the favourites has a sloping floor.Here at the Half Moon we currently have 11 bedrooms 7 of which are housed in the main building with a further four in our purpose built annexe.We are very pet friendly' here and our annexe is perfect for those who wish to bring their dogs as it offers easy access to our courtyard and parking. However dogs are restricted to the guest bedrooms and bar.All the main building rooms have been recently refurbished with new bathrooms bedding drapes and modern flat screen televisions.

Open all year round Libbear Barton is a small country estate in rural North Devon with a gorgeous Georgian Farmhouse and three cosy cottages. The gorgeous Georgian Farmhouse sleeps 14 - Imagine walking in to your holiday house to find a real home from home.....three reception rooms all with an open fire and oodles of logs a massive farmhouse kitchen with a table which seats up to 14 at one sitting a four oven Aga keeping it lovely and warm ready to cook the best toast and the best roast meals. The seven bedrooms ensures there is plenty of room for everyone. The delightful fairytale dormitory is soooo gorgeous that every adult wants to sleep there!!Each cottage sleeps 8 (9 in Badgers House) and each one is uniquely designed and furnished - they each have open log fires 4 bedrooms and 3 bathshower rooms. Badgers House is the largest and has it's own separate lounge kitchen bedroom and bathroom downstairs and carpeted throughout. Toad Hall is lovely light and airy due to huge windows and open plan layout downstairs. Moley's Place is so cute with large kitchen and 2 twin bedrooms downstairs.Each cottage has it's own private garden plus private parking area. Each garden has a trampoline sand pit and BBQ.Libbear Barton is very baby and toddler friendly - we provide all the equipment needed for little ones including cots high chairs strollers play pens stair gates black out blinds toys etc - everything you could possibly need!There is loads of room for the family to explore with fantastic views of your own land - 40 acres of private farmland woodland walks and wildlife everywhere!
