The Roundhouse Barns is a luxury holiday destination exclusively for adults. It's the perfect place to relax unwind and escape the stresses and strains of modern life. We offer luxury five star accredited accommodation within two stunningly converted 17th century Cornish barns surrounded by rolling fields and set within beautifully landscaped tranquil gardens. From the top of our winding drive there are breath-taking views of the Fal estuary towards Falmouth Mylor and Flushing. We are on hand to welcome you with home-baked scones Cornish clotted cream locally sourced strawberry jam and Tregothnan tea so you'll feel right at from the moment you arrive.We have two large ensuite BandB rooms with brand new luxury shower rooms. One is a double room the other can be configured as a king-sized or twin bedded. Both have beautiful views over the countryside. We use White Company bedding and toiletries for that added luxury feel. Each room also has a silent mini-fridge DVD player flat screen TV digital radioiPod docking station and DVDbook library. Breakfast is served in our large dining room. Hanging from the walls is original artwork from Rachel Mia-Allen one of Cornwall's finest landscape artists. For breakfast start with a selection of juices fresh fruits natural yogurt and cereals and continue with either a full Cornish breakfast smoked salmon or our daily special. Finish with organic bread and locally sourced preserves tea or fresh ground coffee.We also have three newly refurbished one-bedroomed self catering cottages - Cockle Cottage The Dairy and The Carthouse. Our cottages have solid oak floors in the hallways bedrooms and lounges and either slate or travertine floors in the bathrooms and kitchens. Our spacious bathrooms have under floor heating with baths and showers. Our new kitchens have granite worktops and a full range of Neff appliances including washing machines dishwashers ovens hogs and microwaves. All our barns are tastefully decorated with high quality linen and stylish soft furnishings. Wi-Fiinternet access is provided free of charge and all cottages are equipped with 2 flat screen TVs DVD player and iPod docking stations and CD players so you can connect with friends and family enjoy a movie or listen to your favourite music. And for that extra special romantic break Cockle Cottage also has a wood burner.We are close to some of the most beautiful parts of Cornwall's coastal path. See seals basking on the picturesque coastline or simply stroll along beautifully sheltered sandy coves. Four miles away there's the yachting harbour of St Mawes and the passenger ferry to Falmouth where you can stroll the cobbled streets eat a proper Cornish pasty or visit the famous National Maritime Museum. Closer to home there's the calming haven of St Just In Roseland with its beautiful church and sub-tropical gardens.There's also easy access to the Cathedral City of Truro the Eden Project the Lost Gardens of Heligan and many other beautiful gardens. Further afield sample the famous fish restaurants of Padstow Watergate Bay or St Ives. Alternatively soak up the magic of St Michael's Mount or visit the famous Minack theatre perched high above Porthcurno beach. We are always on hand to advise on what to do and where to eat.
