We feel particularly obliged to this tradition but have a special reason to be proud of the past: the wonderful Ambras Castle with its magnificent park is located in close proximity. It was rebuilt by Philippine Welser in the years 1564-84 in the Renaissance style and was soon a cultural center hosting all manner of festivities and noble pleasures. Approximately 30 years later the Hotel Bierwirt was founded. It is one of the oldest inns in Innsbruck and the surrounding area. Our whole ambition is to make your stay an unforgettable experience.
