It is truly a magic place characterised by the flora and fauna of the Mediterranean juxtaposed with vineyards and olive groves.Our main Villa dating back to the 18th century has been recently transformed into an elegant and quite Country House containing 10 unsuited bedrooms. Another 14 rooms are to be fond in two adjacent depandance La Foresteria and Gli Ulivi. All rooms are appointed with original period furniture chandeliers matching drapes and bed spreads and differ from one another in terms of lay out and decor. Guests can lounge on the front terrace or in the spacious arched living room downstairs with greystone fireplace and framed portrait paintings. Campo di Carlo is situatedin the Province of Livorno approximately 5 km from Sassetta and 16 km from the sea of the Etruscan Riviera Tuscany. We: Andrea and Cristina have completely restored their antique stone farmhouse with 8 bedrooms each with private bathroom. In the morning we prepare a rich breakfast buffet composed of bread toast cereals eggs butter jam ham and salami cheese coffee fresh fruits fruit juices etc.During the colder months guests can have breakfast in the breakfast room whereas during the summer months guests do usually have breakfast outside under the peaceful veranda. At the guest's disposal is the completely equipped kitchen where each room has reserved a locker for food. Outside next to the house a barbecue and a stone oven that are also both at the guest's complete disposal. Around the buildings the huge well-kept park and the nice swimming pool (14x7 mt) surrounded by deck chairs sun beds parasols and a pavillion ideal to enjoy the silence of this place. Furhter underneath the house and more distant from the peaceful pool area table tennis a small children's playground (swing slide etc.) and a boccia course. At the guest's disposal there are also bikes with which it is possible to discover the surroundings. The farmhouse is located in the midst of the lush green Maremma countryside with routes that are ideal for jogging or trekking. In 5 minutes by car it is possible to reach the medieval village Sassetta with grocer's and other shops for the most important daily needs post office pharmacy and bank. The beautiful long sand beaches of the Etruscan Coast San Vincenzo the Gulf of Baratti can be reached in approximately 20 minutes by car. Campo di Carlo is the ideal starting point to reach Volterra San Gimignano Florence Pisa and the Elba Island.
