The Great Mexilhoeira still retains the serenity of old and a large part of their buildings comply moth humble South whitewashed narrow streets lined up. The Casa da Palmeirinha is no exception as regards the simple facade whitewashed. The two-story building the rear garden sheltered from prying eyes by high walls and its position in the church square however suggest some social significance to time taken by the owners.
