The golden sands of Meia Praia beach stretch right around the bay of Lagos and the small sandy coves and grottoes around the Ponta da Piedade provide secluded and sheltered sunbathing. There are superb sports facilities at or near Lagos including scuba diving dive instruction water-skiing windsurfing microlite and golf. Due to the motorway only fifty minutes drive from Faro Airport . A shuttle service to and from Faro International Airport is available upon request and subject to charges.
