The country estate Finca La Crucita spreads over a surface area of 7500 square metres and is situated in the village of Haría in the north of Lanzarote. Mirador del RíoThis is a unique construction excavated from within the hillside and is situated in the massif of Famara the Peñas del Chache which rises to nearly 700 metres above sea level. Jardín de CactusA garden without comparison in the world there are 10000 cacti of more than 1400 species contained within its walls. Similar in design to a Roman ampitheatre the garden is formed of several levels of volcanic stone beds. In the municipality of Haria there are also the Salt flats of Gusa at the foot of the Famara massif and the Wind Park at Los Valles which generates some of the island's electricity. Beaches Risco beachPlaya Famara The beach at El Risco is reached by descending from the summit of the massif of Famara from an altitude of almost 700 metres down to sea level by means of a two kilometre footpath. It takes almost half an hour to descend. The beach has one of the most beautiful backdrops with the cliffs of the massif behind it. To ascend by the same pathway takes about an hour. With golden sands and a calm sea it is isolated and lies within a nature reserve looking out onto to the narrow stretch of sea El Rió which separates Lanzarote from La Graciosa. La Garita beachThis beach is situated in the village of Arrieta. It has golden sands and is sheltered from the prevailing wind and waves.
