It is built as the Garajonay hotel over an ancient ravine.It opened for the first time in 1998 classified with three stars it offers 38 rooms and now it is being joined with the old Garajonay Hotel (registered as the first hotel of La Gomera in 1962 as a luxury hostel with 1 star in 1969 and renewed in 1971 with 2 stars in 1975 totally upgraded in 1986 2 stars Hotel in 1991) extending its capacity in 30 double rooms and forming a single accommodating unit of 97 seats with 12 upper rooms which will have a bathroom with a bath and a shower more amplitude and comfortability. On the ground floor there will be three special rooms for disabled people a second elevator a terrace with deck chairs and a solarium which will be extended with an area for nudist people a Jacuzzi and a steam room.It is expected to be opened these new facilities in January 2012.In 2010 it got the Quality Seal ISO 9001 and 14001 of Environmental Quality and in 2011 it has been joined to the second phase of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism.All of the rooms have got a full bathroom hairdryer T.V. background music telephone minibarWIFI free ADSL connection security box air conditioning as in the rest of the Hotel.We offer a restaurant service managed by Fabián Mora with a continental breakfast buffet included in the price of the room. In 1996 the former manor house (built 150 years ago) was extended and was restored completely in 1996. The opening took place in the end of 1996. The manor house is situated on an enchanted slope and all its rooms have a beautyful view to the atlantic and to the valley.
