Our guides will meet you at the Hacienda entrance at your preferred time for 1.5 to 2 hours of adventure. (Best time for this activity is early morning or late afternoon). For your comfort: good walking shoes, and a cap are recommended. Binoculars are available, bring your camera. Horseback-riding: ten Azteca horses provide a wonderful riding experiences. Mexican western saddles are used. There are a number of trails both for the novice to the more experienced riders. Ranch - driving tour: picnics at the ‘El Epazote’ and ‘Calabozo'. Coffee-roasting and cheese-making: our coffee is organically-grown at the Hacienda and in Rancho Jabali. A firsthand experience of the coffee growing processing and roasting operation can be arranged. Coffee from this farm has supplied the German Imperial family at the turn of the century as well as the guest of New York’s renown hotel, the Waldorf-Astoria. Each tour includes a coffee “cupping” or toasting. We welcome you to tour our cheese farm/dairy where the organic cheese tasting is also offered. We recommend a departure time of 10:45 AM. A car and driver will be waiting at the Hacienda entrance.
