All breakfasts are sourced from local products and include fish cakes as a specialty and if the hens are laying it would be hard to find fresher eggs! The King's Head Masham is a fine Georgian building dating back to the 18th Century situated in the Market Square of the picturesque town of Masham. From the outset The King's Head was always more than an Inn. In its time it has been combined with a Posting House and surprisingly an Excise Office. It now offers a warm welcome with an excellent menu range and serves traditional Theakstons and Black Sheep cask ales and an extensive wine list making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors to the town. It has recently undergone a sympathetic refurbishment of the bar restaurant and the 23 letting bedrooms and can accommodate 40 delegates in the meeting room. The town always leaves visitors with a sense of calm and is a perfect place to relax this could have a little to do with the two brewery's located in the town which brew Theakson's and Black Sheep beer both are well worth a visit.

The Bay Horse Masham is situated in the heart of Masham and the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. It is an ideal place to stay as it is near to many local attractions.Masham is a town boasting the largest market place in England and has lots of lovely quaint shops to visit during your stay. The two sweet shops offer tempting goodies which will bring back childhood memories! We have an art gallery gift shops wine shop and a delicatessen that sells gorgeous cheeses pickles and other delicious bits and pieces. There is a market twice a week on a Wednesday and Saturday.The Bay Horse is warm welcoming and friendly serving delicious homemade food and homemade chips! All our food is cooked to order so we do ask for our customers to be patient especially during busy times. We try to source our food as locally as possible and use our two local butchers as much as we can. We serve food everyday on a lunch time and evening and ALL DAY on a Saturday and Sunday. On Sundays we have tradional Roasts with homemade Yorkshire Pudding - delicious! Free WIFI available too.A separate room behind the back bar seats 15 and is where you can have a partake in a good old game of darts!We have 6 letting bedrooms consisting of 2 large double rooms 3 standard doubles and 1 single. They are all en-suite with flat screen TV and free view with some having a dvd player combined. All rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits and complimentary bottles of water. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the price includes a full freshly cooked to order English breakfast. A great start to the day! Dogs are welcome too! We also have a 4 holiday cottage which sleeps 6 just five minutes walk away should you wish to cater for yourselves. Please note we are busy PUB WITH ROOMS NOT A HOTEL. Friday and Saturday nights can get busy as the pub has a good local trade with a great atmosphere. It is a real pub! With a license until 1 am.
