Situated in the Scottish Highlands by Loch Ness the original hotel built on this site dates back to 1740 six years before the battle of Culloden. The original building parts of which still stand today was a drover's inn a stop over point for farmers taking their cattle to and from market. This traditional quaint old building is perfectly located as the ideal base to explore the entire Highlands and Islands. We are easy to find on the main Loch Ness -side road (A82) from Inverness to Fort William at the junction to Kyle of Lochalsh and Skye (A88787). We have 8 bedrooms of various sizes in the main building and 3 King size 'Tavern' bedrooms in the grounds. All our rooms are equiped with ensuite showers except our one much sought after four poster bedroom with a jacuzzi bath. The Tavern has ensuite wet rooms one of which is equiped with assisted facilities. The bar and restaurant has a distinctly Scottish feel and a cosy atmosphere. A warm Highland welcome good wholesome food and a traditional whisky bar complete the picture.WIFI is available throughout the hotel and cost £3 per 24 hours
