The Garway Moon Inn is a busy privately-owned 18th Century free house and country inn situated overlooking Garway Common - this is the place to eat drink and relax in an informal environment which welcomes muddy boots kids and dogs! The bed and breakfast accommodation is located above the bar and has three beautiful en suite rooms all newly renovated to a very high standard. It is likely that there has been an Inn at some location in Garway since the arrival of the Knights Templar. However we believe that the Moon originated as a farm building in the early 18th centuary with the farmer turning his hand to cider making to supplement his income.Garway is in a beautiful setting on a south-facing slope of the Monnow valley in Herefordshire.
