Welcome to the Kingfisher Inn we are a family owned and operated hotel at the head of the old wharf road in the small village of Shillingford by the River Thames near Wallingford. The facilities here are of excellent standard all are guests rooms are en-suite with bathshoweroom. The Bar and Restaurant area is a mix of old and new with open wood burning stove for winter and ceramic floor for cooling the summer. The atmosphere here is relaxed and informal with a strong emphasis on good homcooked food all being prepared in our kitchen The separate breakfast room was originally the old stables it has whitewashed walls and ceramic tiles creating a light and fresh room well suited to start the day.
