Rastoni was built in 2004 on the ruins of a prehistoric city. It is an idyllic location being close to the harbour the town and the beach of Aegina. Hotel Rastoni is facing the archeological site and museum of Kolona. The property used to be a pistachio farm. The pistachios of Aegina island have the reputation to be one of the world's best! When you enter the lobby of the hotel you can still see some preserved ruins of an ancient wall and some Mycenean chamber tombs that were found during the archeological excavation of the site.
